Dan's Arkansas Sticks

Picture above is product SAS Soft Arkansas Sticks.

This product was featured in the May 2007 Blade Magazine.

Dan's Arkansas Sticks have utilized the design of the popular ceramic sticks while offering a natural Arkansas stone.  Dan's Arkansas Stick has been designed for strength and stability to improve safety. At the same time, it offers the user a flat surface which is very important for maintaining a straight edge on your knife.  You can purchase Dan's Arkansas Sticks in either soft Arkansas stone as featured in Blade Magazine and pictured above or you can purchase it with true hard Arkansas stones which provides you with an ultra fine stone for putting that razor edge touch on your knives.

Color will vary in both the soft Arkansas and true hard Arkansas stones.  Color does not determine the type of stone.  For more information on that click here.  More about stones.  True Hard Arkansas stones include translucent stone to black Arkansas novaculite to multi-colored true hard.  Dan's Whetstone Company reserves the right to determine the type of stone used on the true hard Arkansas sticks.
